Franchise Performance Metrics Project

Express your interest in participating in the Franchise Performance Metrics Project: Nothing but the Truth, to gain access to a valuable business resource for free.
Griffith University has received feedback from a number of franchisors regarding the need for metrics that provide insight into franchisor performance against a peer group.
Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence Director Professor Lorelle Frazer said the Centre had been approached by a number of franchisors seeking 'franchising benchmarks' to incorporate into their business planning.
"Currently there are no metrics available comparing the performance of franchises against franchises," Professor Frazer said.
"Although franchisors may have access to industry statistics for their business planning and monitoring, the feedback we've received is there is a feeling that a franchised coffee shop, or a franchised retail outlet is quite different to an independent operater in the same industry, so it's hard to get a clear picture of true performance."

As a result, the University is embarking on a project to provide franchisors with detailed and accurate information on key metrics.
This is your chance to express your interest in the project, Professor Frazer said.
"If you get inolved at this early stage, you will be provided with a Franchise Performance Metric report free of charge," she said.
