Government franchising report delay
Written on the 17 August 2009 by Fiona Taylor
The Australian Federal Government’s response to recommendations handed down from a Parliamentary inquiry into the Franchising Code has been delayed.
Small Business Minister Craig Emerson undertook targeted consultation around the recommendations in June and originally hoped to release a formal response by late July.Although no new release date has been given, the response is expected in the ‘near future’.
The Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence’s written response submitted during the latest round of consultation can be viewed here. To view the full article about the franchising report delay and likely outcomes click here.
