Accommodation

We recommend you stay in Coogee, which is 10 minutes by bus from the University of New South Wales Campus. The following recommended hotels are a two minute walk from each other and we have organised a conference rate.

• Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach: To book at the Crown Plaza Coogee Beach call the hotel direct on +61 2 9315 7600, select '0' to go to the Hotel Operator, ask for 'in-house reservations' and ask for the International Society of Franchising booking (Code: US9) to access special conference rates. Email bookings can be made at reservations@crowneplazacoogee.com.au and the code (US9) will need to be quoted to receive special conference rates.
• Dive Hotel: If you wish to go ahead with a booking at the Dive Hotel, email thedive@bigpond.net.au and quote UNSW to receive the conference rate.

• Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments:  Special conference rates for delegates include Deluxe Studio $155, Deluxe Courtyard Studio $165, and Deluxe Ocean View Studio $200.  Pre-booked breakfast can be added at a rate of $10 per person per morning for a continental and $15 per person per morning for a hot breakfast. Please call the Hotel directly on +61 2 9665 8588 to access these special rates and quote ISOF Conference.

• There is a bus available from Coogee to UNSW.  The bus takes 13 minutes and there are 4 buses leaving after 8am and getting in before 9am. Get on at A on map (Coogee), Get off at B on map High St.  A map of the UNSW bus routes and stops is available here.  Delegates should get off the bus at: Stop 5 if arriving from Coogee; or Stop 1 or Stop 6 if arriving from the city.  The Conference will be at about the 'THE' on the diagram of the campus.

The alternative to staying in Coogee would be to stay in the city, which is a 25 minute bus ride to the campus.  There is other accommodation near the university, however special rates have only been negotiated with the three above.

Budget Accommodation Option

• Sydney Central Hostel is the Youth Hostel right opposite Central Railway in Sydney.   There is an express bus from Central to UNSW.

• Conference ssions will be held in F8, room G02.
• Lunches will be in E12, Level 6
• Pre-conference, morning and afternoon tea venue location is TBC.
