Franchise Research: Franchising New Zealand

For one of the first times, comprehensive data on the New Zealand franchise sector has been collected and analysed.

The New Zealand franchise research findings are available in the Franchising New Zealand 2010 research report.

If you would to view the Franchising New Zealand 2010 research report register your details below and a copy of the report will be sent direct to your inbox.

The Franchising New Zealand 2010 report provides a snapshot of the New Zealand franchise sector and provides some comparisons to 2003, which is the last time any official statistics were collected on the New Zealand franchise sector.

The research was sponsored by the Franchise Association of New Zealand and several other New Zealand-based franchise advisory organisations.

The Franchising New Zealand 2010 research was conducted by the Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence, in partnership with Massey University.

The research team includes:

• Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence Director Professor Lorelle Frazer
• Massey University School of Economics and Finance Senior Lecturer Dr Susan Flint-Hartle
• Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence Deputy Director Dr Scott Weaven.

The research also draws some cross Tasman analysis of franchising, noting similarities experienced by the Australian franchise sector, revealed through the Franchising Australia research series.
